1S-Upload picture to Fotobabble and save Record animal report 1L-Record voices for Internet Safety Tip Week 13: 4-2-12 1S-Start animal fotobabbles, students search for a picture of their animal at Flickr.com and save to desktop 1L-Doesn't meet Week 12: (3-26-12) Finish recording voices Publish Watch fotobabbles Week 11: (3-19-12) Begin unit on audio editing using Fotobabble.com Students record voice saying their online safety rule. Week 10: (3-12-12) Online safety posters using Tuxpaint Students start with a template that has the Internet Safety Tip typed on it and draw a picture to go with it. Photos are saved to be uploaded to Fotobabble.com Week 9: (3-5-12) Test on homerow keys Begin Online Safety Watch Webville Outlaw Video and discuss what to avoid on the Internet and what to do if you go somewhere inappropriate. Week 8: No Class State GBB Week 7: Keyboarding Week 6: Keyboarding Week 5: SID- Safer Internet Day 2/7/12 Begin a discussion on what it means to be safe on the Internet. Watch Faux Paw video and answer the quiz Have students do the keyboard challenge to learn where the letters/numbers are on the keyboard. Week 4: •Students color the keyboard to show which hand types which key •Introduce the word Qwerty •Ask students to look at word wall and see if there are any words that need to be added •Students work on where keys are using different websites. Week 3:•Students print their avatar to display in lab 1 at a time •Begin basics of keyboarding by introducing the idea that we use left and right hands to type. •Students use KeySeeker and Keyboard Climber to find the letters on the keyboard using the correct hands.
